I guess this will be my last blog of the year 2014. It has been a great year for me. First thing, I found out my new interests: being model and blogger. They really taught me of not being shy to bring out my own self and contribute ideas and images to the community. Secondly, being the only owner of my blog, I got to learn how to edit pictures by using many tools plus a little bit of photography skills. Last but not least, having the need to have better blog, I got to read many other fashion bloggers' blogs, which really helps me to be better writer and update new fashion trends. I would like to thank them all for contributing to the fashion world. I also want to thank all my readers for spending time reading my blog. Hopefully, my blog will get better and be able to help and inspire you to dress fashionably.

Tôi đoán đây sẽ là blog cuối cùng của tôi trong năm 2014. Nó là một năm tuyệt vời đối với tôi. Điều đầu tiên, tôi phát hiện ra sở thích mới : làm model và blogger. Nó thực sự đã dạy tôi cách không ngại ngùng khi thể hiện bản thân và đóng góp ý tưởng và hình ảnh cho cộng đồng. Thứ hai, là người sở hữu duy nhất của blog, tôi đã tìm hiểu làm thế nào để chỉnh sửa ảnh bằng cách sử dụng nhiều công cụ cộng với một chút kỹ năng nhiếp ảnh.Cuối cùng, muốn có 1 cái blog tốt hơn, tôi đã đọc blog của nhiều blogger thời trang khác, nó thực sự giúp tôi trở thành thành người viết tốt hơn và cập nhật xu hướng thời trang mới. Tôi muốn cảm ơn họ vì đã đóng góp cho thế giới thời trang. Tôi cũng muốn cảm ơn tất cả các độc giả của tôi đã dành thời gian đọc blog. Hy vọng rằng, tôi sẽ viết blog hay hơn và có thể giúp đỡ và truyền cảm hứng cho bạn ăn mặc thời trang hơn.

A bit of Dapper

I was wearing: Vintage Brothers Trench Coat and Turtleneck Sweater, Clarks Shoes, Zara leather gloves.

Today I introduce you to my new favorite style - Dapper. In the past, I have never wore this kind of style before because of two reasons. First, Dapper means wearing pants, blazer, suits and leather shoes, and it is inconvenience to wear in the Midwest where snowing happens a lot. As you know, wetness destroys leather.  Second, Dapper will give me a 90's vintage look, in which I don't aim to wear because I will look overage. However, my perspective really changed after this look. It gives me a mature, elegant, and suave look instead of an "old" look. 

Hôm nay tôi giới thiệu với bạn style yêu thích mới của tôi- Dapper. Trong quá khứ, tôi chưa hề mặc style này bao giờ vì hai lý do. Thứ nhất, Dapper nghĩa là phải mặc quần tây, vest, và giày da, và những thứ đó rất bất tiện để mặc ở Midwest nơi của tuyết xảy ra rất nhiều. Như bạn biết, ướt và độ ẩm phá huỷ da. Thứ hai, Dapper sẽ cho tôi cái nhìn cổ điển của những năm 90, cái mà tôi không hướng đến vì tôi sẽ trông già hơn tuổi. Tuy nhiên, quan điểm của tôi thực sự thay đổi sau cái bộ outfit này.Nó mang lại cho tôi một cái nhìn trưởng thành, thanh lịch, tinh tế và thay vì một "cũ" nhìn.

I was wearing: all Quay's Store

Then it's winter again, my least favorite season of the year. And especially it is even worse in the Midwest where I live. The winter really brings me a lot of memory from the summer where I can wear tank tops and shorts and I actually enjoy. About this look, it is just so simple and active that I wear it to go out with my friend and it keeps me out of sweating. My favorite item is the sandals which look special and elegant.

It took me so long to post these pictures which were taken place in Hanoi, Vietnam where my heart belongs to. These pictures remind me of the great summer I had with families and friends. Talking about this look, I don't really have much to say about this look and I am gonna have a simple post. The same in wearing, when you don't know what to wear: Rule 1. Wear simple!

Nó đã dành thời giàn khá lâu để tôi up những cái ảnh này mà tôi chụp ở Hà Nôi, nơi mà trái tim tôi thuộc về. Những bức ảnh này làm tôi nhớ đến 1 mùa hè tuyệt vời với gia đình và bạn bè tôi. Nói về bộ outfit này, tôi không có nhiều để nói và tôi sẽ có 1 cái post đơn giản. Tương tự như ăn mặc, khi bạn không biết mặc gì: Nguyên tắc 1. Mặc đơn giản!

I was wearing: Adidas Original (Shirt), Forever 21 (Jeans), Matix Denim (Jacket), New Balance (Shoes), MEElectronics Air Fi Runaway (Headphone)

When people talk about denim, they mean to have vintage look. But today, I want to introduce the other side- the "sporty" look. I feel like when the outfit comes with a pair of New Balance Shoes, it just becomes active and sporty. I even feel more energetic when wearing the Runaway headphone which was my newest purchase. About the headphone, it not only has good quality sound but also is fashionable, something that I am always aim for and consider when buying. 

Khi mọi người nói về vải bò, họ ám chỉ phong cách vintage. Nhưng hôm nay, tôi muốn giới thiệu 1 khía cạnh khác - phong cách "thể thao". Tôi cảm thấy khi bộ outfit đi với 1 đôi giầy New Balance, bộ đó sẽ nhìn hoạt bát và linh hoạt hơn. Tôi còn cảm thấy năng động hơn khi đeo tai nghe Runaway của MEElectronics. Về cái tai nghe này, nó không những có chất lượng âm thanh tốt mà còn nhìn thời trang, cái mà tôi luôn hướng đến khi cân nhắc và hướng đến khi mua.

It is simple enough that I don't have much to say about this look. As I said about how the contrast of color makes the outfit look great in the previous post, so does this outfit. Black and white are both simple color, yet implementing each other to make the look stand out. When you go for something simple, accessories is one piece that you can add on. This is my new favorite necklace that I just got from Ebay. I feel very inspired when wearing this wingtip necklace because wingtip represents angle and heaven. 

Bộ này đủ đơn giản để tôi không có nhiều điều nói về nó. Như tôi đã nói trong bài viết trước về việc sự tương phản màu làm bạn nổi bật như thế nào, bộ trang phục này đã hoàn thành tốt điều đó. Đen và trắng là 2 màu đơn giản, nhưng bổ sung cho nhau để làm nó nổi bật. Khi mà bạn đã mặc 1 bộ đơn giản, phụ kiện là 1 thứ mà bạn có thể thêm vào. Tôi cảm thấy rất hứng khởi khi đeo vòng có có hình cái cánh này vì cánh là biểu tượng của thiên thần.

The story of my life

Clothing: Remmy's Collection

Here is my first ever picture of me being model. First let's me tell the story behind it. I am just a college kid at a liberal art college in Iowa where fashion isn't developed. I did not know what path I should go in life whether to go with my major (Accounting) which I don't really like or go with my pasion (sth with fashion industry) For the sake of money my parents have spent on me for education, I decided to go with accounting yet the love for fashion and of being dressed nicely was always in me. I applied for many fashion brands. One of which was Remmy's Collection which was my first brand I did model for. The first time for anything was already hard, the first time to be model was even harder because of the shyness in front of the camera and the awkwardness to pose. However, I survived. From my opinion, it was a good shot for a first time model like me. I am glad that I did modeling and now my dream as a fashion still goes on.

I just got back from the trip to Chicago and Madison for fall break, now it's time for studying and doing my favorite thing- blogging again. About this look, it's kinda easy yet impressive wear for the summer. I love the texture on the shirt, I don't know why but I feel very adventurous when wearing this T-shirts. Along with the T-shirt, the Fred-Perry shoes are my new favorite ones that I picked up last summer. They fit with the T-shirts perfectly.

Tôi vừa trở về trường sau chuyến đi Chicago và Madison kỳ nghỉ thu vừa rồi, giờ là thời gian tập trung học và làm việc yêu thích- viết blog. Nói về trang phục này, nó đơn giản nhưng ấn tượng. Tôi thích họa tiết trên cái áo này, tôi không biết sao nhưng tôi cảm thấy phiêu lưu khi mặc nó. Cùng với áo này, giầy Fred-Perry là đôi giầy ưa thích mới của tôi mà tôi mua hè này.

And that's three days in a week that I've worn this black Gio-Goi beauty. This time I completely went for the whole black look, which I found it simple and outstanding.  In term of style, I went for something definitely on the more contemporary side of things, with the skinny pants, roll up to create the "Man in black" look. Simple, Black, Modern.

Và đây là ngày thứ 3 trong tuần tôi mặc cái áo khoác Gio-Goi này. Lần này tôi chọn mặc 1 outfit màu đen hoàn toàn, thứ mà tôi cho rằng nó đơn giản nhưng nổi bật. Nói về style, tôi chọn một thứ gì đó hoàn toàn hiện đại hơn, với quần skinny để tạo hình ảnh "Man in black". Đơn giản, Đen, Hiện đại.
